Dear Members of the Conservation Commission and Chairman Hoopes,
I am writing to follow up with the Commission after our April 3, 2025 meeting during which
my home at 57 Pheasant Cove Circle was discussed for the improper cutting of vegetation,
I recognize my responsibility in the matter and would like to restate my commitment to
bring this portion of the impacted area to a vegetated condition the commission will find
acceptable.
You may recall that during that meeting, after reviewing the photographs I submitted, you
commended about the likelihood that vegetation would grow back over time. I sincerely
appreciate your continued consideration of that likelihood, and I assure, my family is
committed to steward that transition.
The following day, Brittany di Rienzo came of to our property as you requested. During her
on-site inspection, there were some comments made that seemed inconsistent with the
position of the Commission the evening of April 3. I again, reaffirm the commitment I
expressed during the meeting to be part of the solution, I also understand the important of
maintaining the integrity of the environmentally sensitive area and recognize the potential
impacts associated with the vegetation disturbance in such zones.
I respectfully request the commission’s consideration for a period of time to allow for
natural recover of the area. Then, when the Board determines it is appropriate, reassessing
the area to determine what areas are in recover and areas you determine may require
replanting/restoration.
