Public Comment - Revolutionary War Monument The Yarmouth Historical Commission is seeking public comment on the proposed designs for a Revolutionary War monument dedicated to those Yarmouth residents who participated in our war for independence. The Yarmouth Port Playground (also known as Thacher Park) has been chosen as the appropriate site forthe monument. Design options have been developed by the firm contracted to create the monument. The Yarmouth Historical Commission is seeking input from the community to help inform its decision between the designs proposed. A meeting will take place at 4:00 pm on Thursday, April 10 at the Fire Station 2 Meeting Room, 340 Route 6A, Yarmouth Port, MA to solicit community input.
