Notes from Inspection &Design Findings: hq1435
1. The 2nd story stairway,landing and handrail system for this property was
inspected on 8 APR 25 and found to be in satisfactory condition. The work
was performed IAW Para. 1001.2.2 MA Amend.to the 2021 IBC. MA 10th ed.
Loads meet Para. 1607.9.1 requirements of this Code:
Live Load(Landing)= 100 lb/sq ft
Live Load(Stair)=100 lb/sq ft --
Horizontal Load (Guardrail)=200 lb impact
Horizontal Load(Guardrail)=50 lb/ft
2. This is an all-steel galvanized structure. It is self-braced and free-standing
from the building. It is close-fit connected to prevent slip-thru. It is well made.
3. This is the maintenance and serviceabliity inspection and will require a re-
inspection within the next 5 years(5 year period for A-3 Use Group). Annual
inspections and routine maintenance remain an owner responsibility under
Para. 1001.2.1 MA Amend.
