Thanks for getting back to me, I'm glad the town is receptive to us installing a streamgage on Buck Island Rd. Again, the data is public so it will benefit the community as a whole.
The downstream location on Buck Island Rd would be perfect, before we install the gage, is there anything the town needs from us? I appreciate you and the town working with us on this.

Thanks for your patience, I was coordinating with other departments such as DPW and Water. The upstream side (640 Buck Island Road) is privately-owned property (Ruhan, Thomas J). However,
our GIS shows 12 feet between the upstream headwall and the private property line (should be confirmed in the field). We would need to coordinate with the property owner but anticipate
this would be acceptable. The Town prefers the Downstream location to avoid this.

It was a pleasure talking to you over the phone earlier this week. As requested, I have attached document that goes into more detail into the installation of the streamgage. As stated,
this gage would be in cooperation with Massachusetts Department of Recreation and would provide the town and local community with a better understanding of flow at this location. The
state deemed this location important due to water resource management indicators such as drought insight. If allowed, we would like to install the streamgage on the upstream side of
the culvert near 645 Buck Island Rd. If you would like more information on the project could I propose another call? Maybe this time I could include my supervisor as well.
