I have reviewed petition 5176 and it contains incorrect information. The
property at 94 pleasant is owned by two trusts. It is my understanding the trustee
of the other trust (Judge Reardon), of which I am a beneficiary, is not aware of,
nor consents to my sister's objection to the Osprey pole at 40 Crosby St.
Furthermore, I lived at 94 Pleasant for over 20 years, during such time the
pole was present, and I have only enjoyed having the osprey there and would
never consider them, or the pole, as any type of danger, inconvenience or
nuisance. The osprey have been inhabitants of the river long before we have, and
they need to be protected.
I am also amazed that my sister would complain to the BOA over an
infraction of town rights, given she has willing violated the rights of the abutters
on Surfside terrace, whose rights were required by the town to allow the
subdivision of 94 Pleasant. To complain about someone else, while she is in
violation of her own abutters rights seems inappropriate.
My sister does not represent, own, nor control 94 Pleasant. As an abutter
with standing, and a beneficiary of 94 Pleasant, 1 have no objection to the pole,
and would request the BOA deny her request.
