Communication with the occupant was challenging due to language barrier, as they did not speak English. We used Google Translate during the inspection, but the translation was not entirely effective. Multiple issues were identified and documented. I sent an email with pictures and violations and spoke to the landlord Altagrace about remedying the items identified and subsequently said I would follow that up with a maintenance order. Please see below for findings. Checklist: 1. Number of Bedrooms/Measurements Result: Pass Remarks: #1 10.675 X 11.720 #2 11.755 X 21.135 #3 10.335 X 11.825 2. Maximum Occupancy: Based on septic system capacity, number of bedrooms and bedroom square footage Result: Pass Remarks: 330 GPD/3 Bedrooms-6 3. Basement Result: Fail Remarks: Basement was not accessible from the interior. Steps looked unsafe and was covered by caution tape. Access was possible from the walkout but there was numerous debris, broken tile and construction debris that made it impossible to conduct a thorough inspection of the basement. See comments in 410.570 4. Electrical Panel Result: Fail Remarks: Electrical Panel for the Pool in the 3 season room should not be connected if the pool is to be used for storage. 5. Copy of Tenant's Legal Rights have been issued to tenant. Screen doors are missing at both the front and rear. Screen doors and window screens must be installed and maintained from April 1 to October 31 410.550 Elimination of Pests Owners & Occupants are responsible for the control & elimination of pests Result: Fail Remarks: -Numerous insects indoors due to missing screens, 2 active bees nests identified, one at the chimney exterior and one entering side (beneath the siding).
