Re: Request for Certificate of Compliance and Statement of Compliance
Proposed Elevated Walkway, Landing, and Invasive Species Removal in Dinah’s Pond

On behalf of my clients, Jeffrey and Beth Fanara, please accept this request for a Certificate of Compliance for
the above referenced project. A site inspection was performed by Shorefront Consulting on May 28, 2025. The
proposed work is complete. An As-built plan and photographs are included in this request. The project was
monitored and inspected by Shorefront Consulting during the construction process. The invasive removal
effort is ongoing. The plantings have been installed, augmented as needed, and are in stable condition.
The only deviation from the design plan is that the outer lower landing extends about two feet further seaward
than expected. While the deck and landing heights conform to the plan, it is likely this resulted from the actual
rise and run stair layout where the run was longer in the field than shown on the design plan. This deviation
has no effect on the salt marsh because it extends beyond the marsh. The area does look like the marsh has
extended seaward a little all by itself, which is a good thing. There are no other deviations from the plan
observed during the time of inspection.
Therefore, the project has been completed in accordance with the Order of Conditions, and all Special Conditions
contained in SE-83-2306 issued on 1/27/2022. Attached please find Yarmouth form WPA-8A Request for
Certificate of Compliance, photos of the completed project, an as-built plan dated 5/28/25, and a check for $75
made payable to the Town of Yarmouth. This letter is certified by the surveyor with their stamp.
Please include this request in your next public hearing. The original Certificate of Compliance should be mailed
to Shorefront Consulting for recording. If there are any questions or concerns regarding this request, please
contact me as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Mark Burgess
