These residential properties border on the marine/tidal waters of Cape Cod Bay (Land Under Ocean). Independent Environmental Consultants, LLC (IEC) conducted site inspections and evaluations on 3-18.25 and 319-25 to identify and delineate the wetland resource areas located within both of the residential properties. These site inspections occurred during the spring season, at the beginning of the growing season. The larger property at 100 Mill Lane contains a large residential house, garage, in -ground swimming pool, landscaped areas, playground area, landscaped rock walls, lawn areas, septic system, large barn, boardwalk to the marine/tidal waters (Cape Cod Bay), a driveway connecting to Mill Lane, and a large coastal wetland resource area system (land under )cean, land containing shellfish & fisheries, salt marsh, land subject to coastal storm flowage, FEMA 100 year flood zone, coastal bank, large bordering vegetated wetland (BVW), wooded swamp, with intermittent streams and inland banks, and wetland buffer zones. The large wooded swamp is contiguous with the previously mentioned salt marsh, and tidal waters of Cape Cod Bay. The vegetated wetlands continue off property. Sections of this property are subject to coastal storm flowage, and coastal flooding during storm events, coastal storm surge, and high tide events. Sections of this property may be mapped as Estimated Habitat and/or Priority Habitat of Endangered and/or Rare Species by NHESP. The smaller property at 88 Milt Lane contains a smaller residential house, garage, lawn areas, septic system, a driveway connecting to Mitl Lane, and stow -tying freshwater etland — emergent plan community, with a narrow intermi wttent stream that drains downgradient to a culvert at Mill Street, directing the narrow stream to awe LLand resource area Located off property, downgradient on the other side of Mill Lane. Sections of this property may be mapped as Estimated Habitat and/or Priority Habitat of Endangered and/or Rare Species by NHESP. IEC has delineated the boundary of the large salt marsh and the contiguous wooded swamp with the flags Al -A42, and B1 to B5. There is a coastal bank and a a continuing inland bank located adjacent to flags Al- A25. This low -tying wooded swamp contains greater than 50% wetland vegetative species, hydric soils, high groundwater conditions, pooling areas, and two intermittent streams with inland banks. One of the intermittent streams is located between wetland flags A42 and 131. This section of stream with a very straight channel appears to be a dug/man-made stream channel. Another small intermittent stream located near wetland flag A31 has a small wooden bridge located over the narrow stream channel within the wooded swmp. The large wetland system continues off property. There is a 50' buffer zone and a 100' buffer zone associated with the boundary of wetlands. IEC has delineated the boundary of the small emergent plant community and narrow intermittent stream located adjacent to the driveway and Mill Lane, with the flags C1 - C11. There is a 50' buffer zone and a 100' buffer zone associated with the boundary of wetlands. The subject wetland resource areas and the wetland buffer zones are under the jurisdiction of the Yarmouth Conservation Commission and DEP Wetlands SERO. Paull. Shea, PWS President
