HomeMy WebLinkAboutQuinn ExcavatingMay 9,2022 Yarmouth Town Hall H ea lth Department Attn: Bruce Murphy Dear Mr. Murphy, Here is the letter from Quinn Excavating that you requested I bring in after our conversation last week regarding Quinn Excavating digging up my back yard in error. I do have to say that Adam was very pleasant and offered to come in the spring to level out and reseed my back yard where the damage was done. I do hope that he does not get into much trouble for what happened. After discussing with you the timeline on the plans for putting in sewers in the next 10 years or so I think that I will wait on updating my septic system. I am not having any problems with it and have it pumped regularly. I also have no dishwasher or clothes washer that would put an extra strain on it. I have also enclosed the original diagram of my septic system. Please let me know if there is anything that I need to do now or in the future regarding this matter. Thanks for the information you provided the other day it was greatly appreciated. Especially when you said that I may not have to upgrade my septic tank if it is in good condition. Thanks again and my contact information is below. Box 599 Forestdale, MA 02644 Date: L/2t/2O22 To Whom this may concern, On Thursday January 20,2022 quinn's Excavation & Septic lnc. had two technicians that had gone to #14 Thatcher Road, South Yarmouth MA. The two technicians drove the machine on the side of the property to the backyard and dug up looking for distribution box. The technicians noticed a schedule 20 collapsed pipe. After encountering the pipe, they replaced the pipe from tank to leach pit. Once this was done, they realized they were at the wrong address on Thatcher Road. The technicians then backfilled after making repairs. Quinn's Excavation and Septic; takes full responsibility and will come back in the spring to rake out yard and seed to disturbed areas made by Quinns.
