Proposed Boardwalk Plan Revision

Dear Ms. DiRienzo,
On behalf of Peter and Roberta Fairbanks, please see the attached revised plan for the referenced
project. The owner of the property has selected Beacon Marine as the contractor that will con-
struct the proposed boardwalk. Beacon Marine has requested to use helical piles in lieu of em-
bedded pressure treated posts and soil anchors, as originally proposed. The helical piles will
serve to prevent uplift and will provide the necessary foundation for the small boardwalk the
Fairbanks are proposing. This plan revision will provide no more soil disturbance than was orig-
inally proposed. We are respectfully requesting the administrative approval of this plan revision.
