On Saturday August 12,2006 there will be a Volleyball Toumament at the
Bass River Beach courts.
Last year, I roped offa spot on the southwest side of the concession and
served the players a buffet style meal. This was paid for in advance through
their enfiance fee and negotiated with the event sponsor.
I received permission through the Fire Deparfrnent to use a gas grill to cook
for this group. Because our concession is open and busy on Saturdays, this
was a great way to accommodate these two groups.
I would enjoy carrying out this same procedure for this year. I will contact
the fire department again and request the town to appreciate and
accommodate my requests.
