Remarks: 8:30 am-9:00 am 72 degrees sunny
The following was observed and discussed Action items are noted in bold italics:
-Excavation for the perimeter foundation walls and interior spread footings is complete.The bottom of the excavation is
free of debris and standing water.
-Formwork for the exterior wall footings and interior spread footings is also complete. The width and depth of the
formwork was in conformance with the design drawings.
-Reinforcing steel placement is ongoing and approximately 50%complete.The exterior footing reinforcement consisted
of 2-#5s(bottom).Clearance between the underside of the steel and the bottom of footing is being maintained by the
use of steel chairs.Vertical steel for the concrete piers consisted of 6-#8s in lieu of 6-#7s as shown on the design
drawings.The formwork subcontractor had the#8s available.The substituted reinforcement is acceptable and no further
work is required.
-No omissions or deviations were observed.
-A concrete pour is scheduled for tomorrow morning depending on the weather.
