Dear Mr. Hagopian,
I have researched the existing records ofthe Yarmouth Fire i.; partment and have found
no reference to any underground storage tanks located at the s,te ofthe former Hamblin's
Garage, 206 Old Main Street, South Yarmouth.
I remember the site when it was operated by the Hamblin family as both a gasoline frlling
station and an automotive repair facility, however as previously stated there are no
records available to back up the scope ofthe business.
I would suggest that you check with the Town Clerk's officre and ask if they could
research the Town of Yarmouth Licenses and other pertinent records for the site and the
storage of flammable liquids as a license would have been required for storage in excess
of 10,000 gallons.
IfI can be of further assistance to you please contact me at 508-398-2212.
Yours in service,
William A. Greene, Jr.
