Subject: Pier/dock rights Bass River 6 Willow Lane
To: < selectmen@yarmouth.ma.us >
Dear selectmen,
Unfortunately, we have encountered a rich contractor from Wellesley/NeMon, trying to get pier/dock river rights previously sold by their
predecessor. The previous 5 owneE recognized the "sold rights" and sold out. Bill Hearn knows of our pre-existing rights and refuses to
recognize/acknowlege them despite numerous conversation him and BSC. Billtold me " he has deep pockets and is proceeding".
Attached is two letter from Dan Creedon attorneys of{ice detailing the purchased rights to 2 lots on Bass River.
Lette6 of opposition have been submitted to the conservation commitee by both abutters. Both Heick and l\,lccarthy acknowledge and
agree with of purchased easements/rights of way.
By granting a variance to Hearn's application would void and cause irreparable harm our property rights. The
finanacial impact would be devastating- why would the town put themselves in such a litigious position?
The conservation committee meeting is scheduled for this thursday, 7/18 at 5pm. I am not able to attend the meeting due to leukemia and
lymphoma but will be on zoom.
Please deny Bill Hearn's application to prevent thievery. Let us preserve our rights and not be"pushed around by off capers".
Thank you,
J. Scott and Linda Martin
