R350 Main Street The policy of the Yarmouth Fire Department is to be sitespecific with contiguous properties only for the purpose of siteinvestigation r6ports. The information provided in ourtelephone conversation should be sufficient for documentation inoth€r agencies regards other properties in the area. The site at 342 Main Street appears to be a single familyresidence and the records of this Department do nol reflect anyunderground storage tanks Iisted to the site. The record.s ofthe Department do not reflect any spills of hazardous materialson the site, however there is an unconfi rmed report (from yourfirm) of a 5O gallon fuel oil spill in the basement of theresidence, do to a failed pipe, within the past y€far. The site at 350 Main Street contains a Iicensed storage yardfor above (and in the past underground) storage tanks. CirrlntIythe property is licensed for 250,000 gallons of fuel oil. Therewere companies that have occupied the site in the past that werelicensed to deal with hazardous waste until the licenses wererevoked by the State. There have been several spills andreleases of fuel oiI on the site. The site is also used as apropane filling site and contains several businesses. Cannon Residence & relevant contiguous properties 342 Main Street (Route 28) &350 Main Street (Cannon Engineering) Assessor's Map 25, Lot A5 As per our conversation, you noted the fact that adjacent properties, such as ACME Cleaners, may have issues pertaining to MGL 21 E. We will gladly send additional funds to cover the cost of further review although I know your time is limited during these next two weeks. In addition, I have also enclosed a Locus Map and Site Plan to facilitate your review process. Specifically, I am looking for information pertaining to the following: .
