Subject: Request for Approval to Remove Trees for Safety and Insurance Compliance
Dear Members of the Conservation Commission,
I am writing on behalf of my client, Wayne & Kathleen Barlhe, who is in the process of
purchasing a property located at 42 Medinah Dr.
The property contains several large, mature trees located in close proximity to the home and
other structures. After reviewing the property with insurance carriers, it has been determined
that the removal of some of these trees is required in order to qualify for and maintain adequate
homeowners insurance coverage.
Due to their size and location, these trees pose a potential safety hazard and an increased risk
of damage during high winds or storms. Insurance carriers consider this a liability concern, and
coverage may be denied or limited if the risk is not addressed.
We respectfully request the Conservation Commission's approval to proceed with the removal of
the necessary trees for the purpose of ensuring the safety of the property and compliance with
insurance requirements.
