Hello Joseph and Wayne,
It was a pleasure meeting with you both today, and I apologize for the delay in joining this
conversation.
Thank you, Joseph, for all of your assistance in this matter and I am pleased to hear that these
issues can be addressed through the administrative review process.
As arborists- we do agree that overall, the trees appear to be in good health. However, certain
portions do exhibit signs of stress, including areas of cracking bark, some leaf loss, and the
presence of lichen. While lichen itself is not inherently a sign of disease, its presence
alongside these other factors highlights areas that warrant attention. Additionally, several
sections of the trees are no longer living and will need to be removed to ensure safety.
The primary concern expressed by the insurance agent is not disease but the proximity of these
trees to the house, which increases the level of risk from their perspective regardless of the
trees’ general health. Addressing the dead sections and mitigating proximity concerns will
help ensure continued coverage and reduce any liability.
Considering this - we do agree that the three trees for removal and the trimming of the others
is necessary.
We look forward to continuing to work with you both now and in the future.
Thank you,
Meagan Perry

Thanks for the quick reply, Wayne,
The letter very clearly says removal is required, so we can keep this under an admin review.
Just fill out the form linked below and email it back (no need to print):
https://www.yarmouth.ma.us/DocumentCenter/View/8210/Administrative-Review-
Application?bidId=We and mail or drop off the check for $50 made out to the town of
Yarmouth.
We will still require the trees to be replaced, and the exact number (and possibly species)
will be specified in the approved form you get back from me.

Hi Joe,
I can’t thank you enough for sharing with us your thoughts and recommendations. I am attaching
the letter from my Insurance Agent and am hopeful that Meaghan can provide a letter from
Seventh Homes Services.
Can you share with me the link for me to find the abutters information and map location
information?
Thank you,
Wayne

Hello Wayne,
Thanks for meeting with me today to discuss the tree work. Below are links to the fillable
RDA form and the site access form in case they’re needed.

I discussed with Brittany, and she would like to see a letter from your insurance before she
can decide whether we can keep this under an admin review. Essentially, we need to know
if cutting the trees down was a recommendation or if it’s required for your policy. Similarly,
a letter from a certified arborist explaining why the trees can’t just be trimmed back would
probably help.
The sooner we get that, the sooner I’ll have a definitive answer for you.

Hello Joe,
I look forward to meeting with you today at 1:30. Since I want to make sure I get my paper work
in by Thursday, is there any chance you could bring me a copy of what I will need to fill
out/complete?
Thank you,
Wayne
