Dear Brian.
On this date I was at your property, located at the subject address, to perform an electrical inspection for
the removal of an unpermitted bathroom and all associated wiring within the equipment barn on your
property. This was a result of a court ordered removal and in conjunction with a permit to perform
electrical work (BLDE-25-295) taken by James Egan of Egan Electric.
Upon inspection I noted that the bathroom has been removed and the wires that were run to power that
area have been removed, relocated, or repurposed and made safe following a small correction.
Prior to performing this inspection, I noted that there were several additional violations present and
suggested that these also be addressed. Some of which were lighting fixtures installed without the proper
connectors of bushings to protect the wiring from damage and extension cord run through a torn hole, in
the metal siding, of the exterior wall of the building. The cord has since been removed. I suggested, to Mr.
Egan, that he should take care of these additional issues while he was there, but he stated that it was not
part of his agreement with you, and he was not interested in doing anything more.
Due to the unsafe conditions, I'm requesting that an additional permit be applied for, by a licensed
electrician, and the work performed prior to April 7, 2025. If work is not completed by this date, I will
have the electrical power to the building disconnected by EverSource.
