Dear Members of the Zoning Board of Appeals:
We reside at 69 Freeboard Lane, Yarmouth Port and we are in favor of Lynda
Bedard's request for a variance to park her RV in front of her home.
Our neighborhood is not one of uniform lots. While many parcels in this area
would be able to accommodate a camper within the zoning code, it appears that the
configuration of Ms. Bedard's property along with the structures on the lot make it
impractical, and perhaps impossible, to park a camper behind the front line of the house.
Certainly, it would seem that enforcing the code would result in a hardship for Ms.
Bedard.
Furthermore, we do not feel that parking the RV in the driveway constructed for
the camper will result in a substantial detriment to the area or to the public good. In fact,
all the improvements made by Ms. Bedard to her home have been for the betterment of
our neighborhood.
