Subject: Support for Zoning Change Request - Sheldon Stewart
Dear Members of the Zoning Board,
I am writing as a neighboring business owner to express my full support for the request made by
Sheldon Stewart to change the zoning of their property at 539 Higgins Crowell Rd West
Yarmouth from Storage to Contractor Zone.
As a business neighbor, I believe this change is appropriate and beneficial for the following
reasons:
i. Compatible Use: The proposed contractor use is consistent with the character of the
surrounding properties and will not negatively impact nearby businesses or residents.
2. Economic Benefit: Sheldon Stewart provides valuable services and employment
opportunities within our community. Granting this zoning change would support their
continued growth and contribution to the local economy.
3. Operational Fit: Their business activities naturally align with a contractor zoning
designation, which would allow them to operate transparently and in full compliance with
municipal regulations.
4. Community Stability: Approving this request will encourage stability and long-term
investment in the area, benefiting both neighboring businesses and the community at
large.
In my experience as a long-term member in the Trade Community of Cape Cod, Stewart has
consistently been a responsible, professional, and considerate businessman. I am confident he
will continue to operate in a mulnner that upholds the standards and expectations of our
community.
For these reasons, I respectfully urge the Zoning Board to approve their application for rezoning.
