RE: Minor Project Modification to DEQE License No. 938
Bass River, Packet Landing Marina, Yarmouth
Dear Ms. Cullinan:
The Department has reviewed your request on behalf of the Town of Yarmouth to modify the above referenced
Chapter 91 License. The modification involves the installation of a new sheet pile bulkhead landward of the
existing bulkhead / stone revetment, extending the bulkhead on the south side of the site, placement of fill to
raise the parking lot, and installation of a gangway for access to the floating docks. The project serves to enhance
resiliency at Packet Landing and improve public access to the existing docking facilities.
The proposed modifications are shown on a plan titled, “Packet Landing Marina Resiliency”, 19 sheets, dated
June 18, 2025, prepared by Tighe & Bond.
The Department has determined that pursuant to 310 CMR 9.22, the activity constitutes a minor project
modification, which represents an insignificant deviation from the original specifications of the license, and as
such this activity does not require a new or amended license. Please note that other local, state and federal
requirements may apply.
