Elevated Stairway
To the Conservation Commission,
Enclosed please find Form 8A and a check for $150. The applicant is requesting a Certificate of Compliance.
I inspected the site on August 22, 2025 and I hereby certify that the beach stairway was constructed in
substantial compliance with the Order of Conditions. The stair case 1 post spacing is slightly wider than shown
on the plan however the railings are simple post -held ropes, has a very open frame, sand is collecting in the
zone, and beachgrass growth surrounding the stair is robust. Large stepping stones originally proposed were not
installed. The stair has been in place for approximately I 1 years and is in good condition with stable ground
on the approach path. A narrow single board bench was added to the upper landing. A photo of the current
condition appears below:

B. Submittal Requirements
Requests for Certificates of Compliance should be directed to the issuing authority that issued the final
Order of Conditions (OOC). If the project received an OOC from the Conservation Commission, submit
this request to that Commission. If the project was issued a Superseding Order of Conditions or was the
subject of an Adjudicatory Hearing Final Decision, submit this request to the appropriate DPP Regional
