Rust and failed seal around the faucet create defects that make the area difficult to keep clean and create an accident hazard. - Recommend repair/replace. The facilities required by 105 CMR 410.100(A) shall have smooth and impervious surfaces and be free from defects which make them difficult to keep clean or create an accident hazard. Wall behind the sink lacks a smooth, nonabsorbent, easily cleanable surface and there is no watertight seal at the sink edge.
