Subject: Petition 5193 NSG Mattacheeset Vila Yaro, Nantucket Sound Group, Inc..
I am writing to vehemently oppose this petition 5193 for waiver for the site of former The Laundry Center location at
897 Route 28 South Yarmouth. I am and have been a summer resident at 39 Holly Lane South Yarmouth since 1975.
With a vacant building on the corner of Pine Grove Road and Route 28, it is extremely difficult to turn from Route 28
onto Pine Grove Road. It is even more difficult to turn from Pine Grove Road onto Route 28. There are many cars,
walkers and bicyclists to contend with. It is already a very busy and dangerous intersection. I can't imagine how
dangerous it would become if this waiver is granted for 27 units, with an obvious increase in pedestrians and residents
and cars.
Please think of the residents nearby and do not allow this.

Applicant seeks a Comprehensive Permit under Chapter 408. Requires waivers for multi -family use, density, number of buildings per
lot, building separation, building height, building setbacks, impervious coverage, parking buffer, in -lot trees, and parking spaces to
construct 3 buildings for a total of 27 rental units, of which 25% of the units will be restricted for low and moderate -income households.
