HomeMy WebLinkAboutExhibit F - Emergency Spill Response PlanKINSLEY POWER SYSTEMS 310 GUINEA ROAD BREWSTER, NY 10509 914-218-9937 EMERGENCY SPILL RESPONSE PLAN ;10I:1 CELLCO PARTNERSHIP D/B/A VERIZON WIRELESS 20 OLD HYANNIS ROAD, YARMOUTH, MA 02575 1) Evacuate the area if there is a risk of injury due to fire, fumes, or other factors 2) Notify the Yarmouth Fire Dept. (9-1-1 for immediate threat to life and/or safety). For releases not creating an immediate threat to life and/or safety notify the Yarmouth Fire Department at 508-398-2212 and Health Dept. at 508-398-2231 ext. 1240 if the release amount is in excess of one gallon of any toxic or hazardous material. No notification is required for release amounts of less than one gallon, although these releases are still required to be properly cleaned up. 3) Be certain to use any needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) located on the Refueling Truck. 4) Extinguish any ignition sources 5) Refer to the Safety Data Sheet(s) (SDS) for the released material(s). 6) If safe to do so stop the leak or spill. Keep spilled material from entering storm drains. 7) Contain and absorb the spill using absorbent material, i.e. clay absorbent, pads and/or booms that are located on the Refueling Truck. 8) in the container labeled SPILL RESPONSE MATERIALS. 9) Notify Mass. Dept. of Environmental Protection (DEP) at 888-304-1133 for any spills over applicable thresholds. Also, as stated above notify Yarmouth Fire and Health. a) 10 gallons for petroleum -based oil b) 10 gallons for gasoline c) 10 POUNDS for ethylene glycol engine antifreeze (BE AWARE OF DEP REPORTING LIMITS FOR ALL OF YOUR STORED MATERIALS) 10) Containerize spent absorbents in container that is located in the on the Refueling Truck and labeled "FOR USED ABSORBENTS". 11) Contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler for removal of spent absorbents.
