Hi Brittany,
Thank you for your call today. I explained to you that the information provided
to me was for an unrelated site and I have reached out to the resort managers
to see about obtaining what information that might be available for
documenting compliance with the 2020 NHESP directives at the Blue Water
resort. You explained that 2024 and 2025 had regulated activities through your
office that you were aware of and that records may exist for those activities.
I’ll pursue the effort to obtain information concerning the Blue Water resort
beach area.
The resort staff dealing with this matter will benefit from knowing and
understanding that compliance with the process relates to the outcome of the
proposed project and also may have implications for the future management of
the beaches in this location.
In the meantime, we agreed that the public hearing can be continued to
November 16, 2025 so we are requesting that request be voted on. Further
continuations may not be available.
