PETITION ##5198: 1 Parsonage Point, Yarmouth Port
At its August 7'h and August 21", 2025, hearings, the Conservation Commission heard a
Notice of Intent for a proposed wooden walkway over an existing foot -path to Elisha's
Pond in the buffer zone of a BVW, inland bank, bordering land subject to flooding and
NHESP estimated and priority habitat. The commission issued an Order of Conditions
(SE83-2493). The approved plan set, Proposed Site Plan - Stairs, was last revised on
August 1", 2025.
Being above ground, the walkway will have less impact on the integrity of the coastal bank.
The elevation also lets light pass through, allowing the underlying vegetation to remain,
and preserving NHESP rare species habitat.
