W-H BOARD OF APP€AL5 To Whom It May Concern, In 1965 my parents purchased a summer home at 85 Evergreen Street in South Yarmouth. I purchased the home from my family estate after my mother passed away in 2022. I have witnessed the many changes to the fabric of this community in my 50 plus years of initially spending summers and now in retirement spending several months a year here. I urge the Zoning Board of Appeals to deny the above captioned petition for many reasons. As stated by Chairman Igoe at the meeting on September 25, 2025, the intention of the Town of Yarmouth was to not have residential development along Route 28 but to have commercial development and some residential units within commercial property. The parcel in question is too small to accommodate 27 units of housing. As one of the panel members asked the question of Mr. Cleary, Where would children play or have recreation in such a small congested space? This project if allowed to move forward would cause great harm to the fabric of this neighborhood of primarily one and two story, single family homes. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
