No. —r'fl— Name, address & telephone of agent and/or attorney: The appeal must be filed within 10 days of the filing of the decision with Town Clerk Petition for Appeal Yarmouth Old King's Highway District Committee Decision 25-A125 2. The Reason for this appeal is: A. Incomplete/No instructions for owner to participate by ZOOM during the meeting to address inconsistencies discussed B. We will reroof the entire residence with charcoal shingles eliminating color contrasts. We would ask that the Committee approve the original placement of the panels as discussed in the October 8, 2025 meeting. C. The Committee indicated that I Dartmoor would be the first residence with solar panels in the Pheasant Cove Neighborhood -There are 3 known approved locations in the neighborhood -28 Lookout (not visible from the road) along with 110 Lookout and 30 Pheasant Cove Circle which are both visible from the road. D. The Committee was objecting to placement of the panels as they would be visible from the streets. There was no mention of a committee member driving by to verify the tot and numerous 35-foot evergreen trees that obscure the view from the road. E. Abutter letters were offered in support of the project in response to the notification of the hearing. We provided the email address to those offering assistance for ease of communication. We, nor our Representative went door to door soliciting letters. The letters were read into the minutes. Our most direct abutter at 141-34 Mike and Sharon Arpano did send a letter of support. Later in the meeting it was noted that the direct abutter had not offered support. Additionally, the other direct abutter 141-36 Kathy and Kenneth Lucas, offered support as there are again the 35-foot evergreen trees between the lots that obscure the proposed solar panel application. F The Town of Yarmouth Old Kings Highway Historic District Solar Panel information indicates that the panels will not be visible from Route 6A or another road designated as a scenic road. I could not find a document that identifies scenic roads in Yarmouthport. 1 have identified the following residences that all have solar panels visible from the road ( the roads are off 6A and proximal to our neighborhood). Given the varying degree of visibilityfrom year round full visibility to seasonal full visibility, we are concerned that there is inconsistency when visibility is addressed when solar panels are approved by the Committee. 1. 42 and 153 Center Street 2. 27 Winter Street 3. 38 and 39 Mariners Way 4. 16 Green Teal Way i OCT 2 12025 Old King's Highway Histodc District i Y offloN3TOWN OF YARMOUTH 1146 ROUTE 28, SOUTH YARMOUTH, MA 02664-4451 Telephone (508) 398-2231 Ext. 1292-Fax (508) 398-0836 AK Z 8 7025 OLD KING'S HIGHWAY HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMITTErRighway APPLICATION FOR Historic District icip a4auTH TOWN CLERK fE CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS by rr i't5 Kl.1:31- pircatron rs heremade for issuance of a Certificate of Appropriateness under Section 6 of Chapter 470, Acts of 1973 as amended, for proposed work as described below & on plans, drawings, photographs, & other supplemental info accompanying this application. Hi Lisa, My name is Stanley Kaczynski and I live with Susan Roberts directly across the street from Catherine and Lens home at 22 Lookout Rd, Yarmouth Port, MA 02675. Sue and I both strongly support the installation of solar panels at our neighbours house. I understand your concern about the roof color being a little inconsistent with the color of the roof but I have included the photo of the panels at my previous house to show how the panels can actually cover large portions of the roof and to some extent actually hide the color mismatch. I the end I hope you approve the panel installation for what I believe will be the betterment of our neighborhood and the betterment of future generations. Respectfully yours, Stanley Kaczynski 22 Lookout Road Yarmouthport MA ur #I- j Sherman, Lisa From: kathleen lucas <kiucas210@yahoo.com> Sent.
