Callahan'<jmcallahan@globalpdc.com>;'palmadental@me.com'<palmadental@me.com> Subject: Condo # Palma DCE#16-275 Bru ce: We were osked to review the septic design flow for Phose I of the condominium, Polmo Dentol is the proposed tenont. The existing building is going Io be 3,947 sf ond hove between 7 ond l5 occuponts We reviewed lhe woter use of Polmo Dentol's #37 lndustriol Pork Rd in Plymouth, which owner Bob Pqlmo describes os o much more intensive use thon the proposed focility from o woter use stondpoint. The exisling system is copoble of hondling o 364 gpd design flow bosed on the leoching size os shown on poge 5 of 6 of the site plon set. A cross check is on overoge of I 1 persons occuponcy x 15 gpd/person = 155 gpd design flow, plus o smoll omount for sinks. Also, bosed on office flow, the design flow would be 296 gpd os shown on the plon. Sink droins will be protected by sediment trops. The site is not in o Zone ll or Nitrogen Sensitive Areo, so there is not o limitotion on design flow beyond the existing opproved copocity, so while not oniicipoted to be required, o design flow upgrode could be performed of ony iime if determined to be needed. 1 They ore shifiing more to digitol printing ond owoy from the older more woler intensive methods, so the woter use of 5l7 gpd for the 9000 sf Plymouth focility would reduce by more thon the 9000 sf to 3947 st rotio which would be 229 gpd octuol flow, we feel the flow will be more occurotely 150 gpd octuol flow, which would be o 300 gpd design flow. Bosed on the obove observotions ond colculotions, lfeel the exisiing septic system is odequote for the proposed use. Pleose do not hesitote to contoct me with ony questions. Daniel A.
