I am writing to express my opposition and concerns with the application by Ryan
Family Amusements for permission to place a non -conforming sign on Route 28.
I have publicly stated for many years my concerns with the blighted, overly
commercial appearance of the road and the message it makes about Yarmouth. I
have been pleased by the efforts in recent years of so many Boards and
businesses with the improvements of set -backs, landscaping and updated
signage.
Please do not allow the "slippery slope" of a non -conforming sign as it will set
precedence for others to follow and lead us away from the work so many have
committed to.
