am writing to express concerns regarding petition 5204, the proposed plan to install a pool at 43 Webster Rd.
As the owner of 46 Webster Rd. which has been in my family since 1996,1 have seen the petitioner's property
developed from a small vacant lot of many years, to a lot with a large home including a separate media/game
room listed as a short term rental.
The original construction plans came before this board in approximately 2020 as a 3 bedroom home with a 3
bedroom septic, with plans drawn up by Richard Cadillac.
It is currently advertised on WeNeedAVacation 38568, with pictures, as a 4 bedroom rental which can sleep10.

In the past two summer rental seasons, I have observed and reported overflow street parking of 3 - 5 cars in
front of the property, overnight for days, in addition to those parked in the driveway. This practice obstructs an
already narrow street, and has prevented me, as well as my immediate neighbors from readily accessing our
own driveways, and could impede passage of emergency service vehicles.
When the rental at 47 Webster (advertised capacity 16-20) is fully occupied, overflow street parking sometime:
doubles and makes the road almost impassable. Without contact info for the owners at either rental, my only
relief is to call police.
I feel that the addition of a pool to this property, which is within easy walking distance to a beach, is going to
invite even larger gatherings, more noise and even more cars to a relatively peaceful neighborhood; and I am
therefore opposed.
