O'Connell Trustee O'Connell Enterprises Trust 5575 Sandia Place San Diego, CA 92124 Dear Mr. O'Connell: On June I , 201 5 I investigated complaints received by this department concerning two abandoned vehicles at l0 Braddock Street, South Yarmouth, MA 02664. I visited the property, and confirmed that two vehicles which appear to be in junk condition are in fact being stored on the property. The former owner ofthe property, who was probably the owner ofthe vehicles, has been deceased since November 2013, and I believe that you are now the current owner. Please note the following bylaws: JW{K VEHICLE - Any motor vehicle, whether automobile, bus, truck, tractor, mobile home, motorcycle, motor bicycle, minibicycle or snowmobile, or any other contraption ortginally intended for tavel on the public highways, which is abandoned, stored, krt or located by its owner or any other person on public or privdte property in the Town of Yarmouth. ( I ) Any motor vehicle which is not registered by the State of Massachusetts for operation on the public highways and which has not been registered for the preceding I2 months or is nol in a condition to meet the requirements for the Massachusetts vehicle inspection sticker shall be defined as a junk vehicle. (2) For the purposes of this chqpter, a motor vehicle registered as a farm whicle or which is operable and used by the owner on his own property for the transport of u,ood, snowplowing or similar uses shall not be considered a junk vehicle. (3) For the purposes of this chapter "abandoned," "stored" or "located" shall mean when the junk vehicle is visible from a public highway or a dwelling unit on a neighboring property. S 107-4. Open storage. Unauthorized storage prohibiled No person shall permit more than one (l) unregistered motor vehicle or trailer or major parts thereof, exceptfor farm vehicles, to remain ungaraged on said person's premises at any time...
