HAS YOUR BAGHOUSE REALLY
BEEN INSPECTED LATELY?
r Has your bag life recently declined?
r ls your baghouse causing unscheduled production downtime?
r ls baghouse maintenance turning into costly "overtime, work for your
staff?
r Do your people hate or refuse going into your baghouse due to the
nature of the work?
r Do your workers sometimes omit other maintenance items after
changing bags, such as checking seals and checking for proper
operation of the cleaning system?
r Have emissions from your collector recently become a problem?
lf you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then the solution might be aregular r 0-Point lnspection by our experienced baghouse technicians. our crewsperform the following on each collector:
1. lnspect rhe tubesheet for dust accumulation, which indicates a leaking bag,leaking bag / tubesheet connection, or crack in rhe tubesheet / cellplate
seams.
2. visually inspect for evidence of dust reakage. A Detekto-Lite Leak DetectionTest can be run if needed. This test identifies specific points of leakage.(Requires access to the clean air plenum.)
3. Visually inspect general condirion of bags and cages for obvious signs ofdeterioration.
4. lnspect the cleaning system and identify components in need of repair orreplacement.

lnspect the housing for points of in-leakage and note areas in need of repair.
lnspect the tubesheet or ceIprates for areas of corrosion or deterioration.
lnspect the hopper, if accessible, noting any areas of build_up.
lnspect the inlet baffle plate for wear and note any needed repairs.
lnspect the door seals for leakage and note any needed repairs.
Provide a written report on the status of the unit and determine future
