TOWN OF YARMOUTH STORMWATER BY-LAW, CHAPTER 145
In accordance with the second paragraph of the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 131, Section 40,
and Yarmouth By-Law Chapter 145, you are hereby notified of the following:
A. The name of the applicant is National Grid
B. The applicant has filed a Stormwater Management Permit Application with the Yarmouth
Conservation Commission, seeking permission to undertake a construction activity, including clearing,
grading, excavation or redevelopment, in an area subject to Protection under Town of Yarmouth Stormwater
By-Law, Chapter 145.
C. The address of the lot where the activity is proposed is 127 Whites Path, Yarmouth, MA (Map: 98; Lot:
81).
D. Proposed work includes site clearing, reqradinq, and tree removal, construction of a new liquefied
natural gas (LNG) tank adjacent to an existing tank and associated infrastructure, a new perimeter access
road, new fencing, and a comprehensive stormwater management system. The stormwater management
system includes catch basins, trench drains, drain manholes, stormwater treatment units, sediment
forebays and an infiltration basin. The design has been prepared in accordance with the Town's Stormwater
Management Regulations, and the recommendations in the Massachusetts Department of Environmental
Protection (MassDEP) Stormwater Handbook.
E. Copies of the Stormwater Management Permit Application may be examined at the Yarmouth Town
Hall at the Conservation Commission office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday thru
