The petitioner represented herself at the hearing. She represents that she
has been in the business of conducting Tackwondo (Martial Arts) classes for
children, and adults for several years at various locations and has received
no eolmplaints as to the conduct of her business or her students. She presently
conducts classes at the Bass River Athletic Club in South Yarmmouth and at a
location in Centerville.
_proposal_is,to_conduct• classes of-5:00p.1n. and 9s00p.m.
The
on weekdays and perhaps on Saturday mornings if the demand exists. Class sizes
will generaLly not exceed 12 students, with up to 3 instructors/staff on site.'
Most of the younger students are dropped off by parents, so that less parking
is required. In addition, the intended hours of operation are at off-peak times
as compared to the other business within the complex. It is therefore felt
that the 11 parking spaces available will be adequate .
