Deck Style 1 Materials Description
The proposed deck will be an 8' x 10' attached deck constructed entirely of pressure -treated lumber.
The deck will not be painted or stained. The structure will include pressure -treated framing,
pressure -treated decking, and pressure -treated 4x4 support posts. The guardrail system will consist of
pressure -treated 2x4 top and bottom rails with pressure -treated balusters spaced to meet code.
The deck is located in the back yard of the home. The front of the house faces Willow Street, and the
back yard and deck are not visible from the street.
The overall appearance, layout, and style will closely match the existing deck currently on the property;
however, the new deck will be built to fully comply with current town and state building codes, including
proper footings, ledger attachment, guard height, and baluster spacing.
