Bob-
Your calculation (5 gal/ockeo sounds reasonable as far as the lockers are concerned. However, that would put
your total gallonage at 1315 gallons/day. Bruce and I discussed giving Engineering these initial design calcs. to
start a plan, and we can adjust the numbers down depending on what kind of room we have to work with. We
want to keep it out o, the paved area if possible to avoid tearing that up. Our goal is to keep the total llow
between 1100 and 1300 gal/day. This range also tits in with the water usage of 520 gal/day. (Title 5 requires you
to double your water usage number il you use the waler records to design lhe system instead of the design flows
listed in the Title 5 regs. 520 gal/day x 2 = 1040 gal/day)
I will give Rick deMello the numbers you generaled lor me to get a plan drafted. You should probably touch base
with him, too, to confirm his timo f rame.
Bruce and I also agree that the lack of venting on the existing system would not have caused the system to fail.
Call or email me with any questions.
