A soil test vas conducted on June 10, 1993 at the site referenced above to
deteEoine soil suitability and depth Eo grounduater '
The soil test u-as conducted to aid in the proper design of a proposed septic
system to replace the existing subsurface septic systeo'
Ttre existing septic system has reguired increased gnping of aeptage to
insure a set'age overflow does not result. Freguent septage pt'mping has
occurred on 2/,3/93, 3/30/93, 4/28/93, 5/26/93 arfi 6/4/93- rncreased pmping
of the leachirg faciliEy indicates a failure.
Ihe soil test revealed; o-2, Topsoil and subsoil 2'-!2', rnedir-ut sand and no
groumlrater fcund at 12' .
Based on the soil test results this departfiEn! recorrnds the installation
of a distribution bcx Piped to tvo (2) sets of tluee (3) pre-casE flolt
di ffr:sors r.riL\ 2' stone on the sides and 3' of stone on the ends (See
attachd sketch). Ihis configuraticn allorB a total. design fl(:,tt of 84
gallmspercay.ltrisdesignfloviseguivalentt'othefl'ounee<ledEo
