Project Summary
Construction of a wastewater pumping station (PS2), including control building (17'0" x 11'6") to house
electrical equipment. See project plans for more detailed information.
Comments
I/ Building: Municipal use allowed in the B2 zoning district. Construction to follow all requirements of 780 CMR. Review
plantings as required per section 301.4.9 of the zoning bylaw. Front buffer required to be 20'
As built required.
vs)Community Development & Planning: Per Section 301.4.9, street trees should be 2.5" caliper trees approximately
every 35' with a mixture of shrubs/flowering plants (replace the groundcover). All plantings to be native species. Provide
2-3 buffer trees along the eastern property line.
Design Review: Not Present.
Conservation: Approved plan dated November 2025
Engineering: 1)Suggest coordinate with MassDOT about the MassDOT drainage DMH proposed, sizing
CC requirements as part of the infiltration and future development of this portion of Route 28. 2)Suggest that DPW
maintain the two catch basins and water quality unit included in the temporary easement. 3) Provide drainage
calculations when they are available.
114Fire: Fire Dept access as per 527 CMR 1 Chapter 18. Fire Dept. key box needed for access to buildings.
Health: There seem to be one of two options, 1) put in a tight tank and pump accordingly, 2)reroute the system and put in
a system that will fulfill the needs of the flow for the building until town sewer is ready to connect(Leaching pit). Either
solution will need approval from the BOH.
Water: None.
