Dear Dr . Boyd:
I have enclosed the shielding form and room plan for
the Orthopedic X-ray suite in South Yarmouth, MA. The design is
based upon the revised information that was provided to me,
and the As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) radiation
protection principle. The design meets the rules and
recommendations of the Massachusetts Department Public Health,
Office Radiation Control and the NCRP Report No. 49. Please read
the notes on the shielding form.
The shielding form and room plan for the suite will be
submitted to:
