I think the Kratom issue is another matter. lt appears the majority of the BOH feels the sale of Kratom and similar chemicals needs to be controlled. I will put together a regulation draft so we can discuss and possibly vote on whether to schedule a public hearing. So, please keep the subject of Kratom on the next agenda. It is my understanding that only Charles and I have completed our terms on the BOH. We both would like to remain on the Board. There is one Town resident who has applied for a position on the Board. Selectboard member, Joyce Flynn, will recommend two people to the Select Board which is scheduled to vote on her sellection this month. I will not be available for a possible Jan. 5th meeting. This might be of no significance if l'm not selected to continue on the Board. I would like to request that these items be postponed to the January 5th meeting agenda to allow our office sufficient time to gather the necessary information and provide the Board with a comprehensive overview for further discussion. I am also requesting this extension because we are in the full swing of processing all Board of Health application renewals (all that currently expire f2l3f/2025), and we are working to balance this workload while compiling the information needed for these agenda items.
