Yes, just a good brief description of what the program is and how we would proceed in the near future
to adopt this policy. Riley will send everyone the zoom link and the agenda for our December
1st meeting. Looking forward to hearing your presentation again.

Good morning,
Per sara Provos' instructions I am writing to connect so that Anthony chui and Iare well prepared to provide information that is most helpful to your'aoard. weknow everyone is busy these days and want to make sure we inare in a way thatwill meet expectations and needs. And respect your time.l'm happy to meet over Zoom, speak by phone, or even just nail down theparticulars via email. Whatever works
'best.
I copied my friend and colleague Bob Collette as l'm sure he will want to be
involved as well.
My initial thoughts are that Anthony (Health Director
Melrose/Wakefield/Stoneham) could describe the policy for any members who
may not be totally familiar, and touch on the Brookline lawsuit which settled the
legality of Boards adopting this kind of public health policy.
lf it makes sense I could then briefly describe the steps we took and the
challenges we faced in my region, and provide an update on NFG activities
across the state. And mainly be there to answer questions Board members may
have.
Looking foruyard to chatting as we prepare to meet with the Yarmouth Board of
Health on December 1st.
Thank you,
Maureen
