Subject: Cape Cod Convenience, 50 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth Timeline
Date: January 4, 2024
1. December 10, 2021 – Stephanie Devito purchased business Cape Cod Convenience,
Retail Food Store and Tobacco License from Agha Khan. Applied for 2022 licenses
on 12/10/21 and opened store in January 2022.
2. February 14, 2022 – Fire – retail store closed from damage.
3. November 15, 2022 – Application for Tobacco / Retail Food for 2023 submitted.
Licenses not issued – no inspections conducted. (Application attached)
4. September 15, 2023 – I emailed and left voicemail for Ms. Devito regarding
conducting a 2023 Retail Inspection. (email attached)
5. September 18, 2023 – Ms. Devito emailed back stating “nothing new to inspect,
looking for a smaller and less expensive place.” (email attached)
6. November 6, 2023 – Application for Tobacco / Retail Food for 2024 submitted.
Ms. Devito noted location address as 50 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth for the
business. ( Application attached)
7. December 1, 2023 – I emailed and left voicemail for Ms. Devito if she is planning to
go back to 50 Long Pond Drive, I will need to conduct a 2023 inspection. If not
planning to go back to that location she will need to have another location by
December 31, 2023 or have a purchase and sales agreement in place or risk losing the
license. (email attached)
8. January 3, 2024 – I emailed and left a voicemail for Ms. Devito about attending a
Board of Health Meeting on Monday January 8, 2023 to speak about the Tobacco
License. As of today I have not heard back from Ms. Devito. (email attached)
