Cole Engineering Construction Services Technician Robert Reuter arrived onsite at 6:15 am for "Concrete Field Testing" for the placement location referenced above. Upon arrival, met with Eric Salo from CDM Smith who provided information about today's job duties. RLR would be testing concrete for vehicle storage building north and south slabs. Concrete was delivered by "Cape Cod ready mix" and was a 1-1/2", 4500psi, Concrete Mix with HRWR and (13) cubic yards of concrete were placed. The mix specifications were as follows: Slump: 7.00in - 10.00in Air Content: 3% - 6% (Air entrained mix). Sample were collected from  load (2)and the standardized testing was performed with the following results: First Placed Load (Truck#(67) Slump: 8” in. Air Content: 5.2% Concrete Temperature of 62 F°   A set of 6 cylinders were cast from load (2)for laboratory compressive strength testing at 7,14,(3x 28s) One cylinder was made for 'Hold' purposes. Observations and Results of the Inspection were communicated to Client Representative Eric Salo before leaving.
