Pre -Construction Preparation • Obtain all required permits and approvals. • Utility disconnects (electric, gas, water, sewer). • Interior prep as needed (remove fragile finishes, secure structure). • Install temporary bracing to reinforce the structure prior to lifting. 2. Structure Lifting & Temporary Support • Excavate around the existing foundation as required. • Install engineered steel beams beneath the structure. • Use synchronized hydraulic jacking system to lift the building in controlled increments. • Place the structure on temporary cribbing supports at the required elevation. 3. Existing Foundation I Once the structure is fully supported, the existing foundation will be: o Demolished and removed in accordance with local regulations, or o Partially removed if any section is approved to remain (to be confirmed per final engineering). All debris will be properly disposed of off -site. 4. New Foundation Construction • Excavation to required depth and elevation. • Install footings per approved structural plans. • Form and pour new concrete foundation walls (or install engineered foundation system as specified). • Install waterproofing, drainage system, and insulation as required. 5. Setting Structure on New Foundation • After the new foundation has achieved required strength, the structure will be lowered and permanently secured to the new foundation. Install anchor bolts, sill plates, and structural connections per engineered details. 6. Finalization Reconnect utilities. Backfill and site grading. Complete any required exterior or interior tie-in work. 2 All work will be performed in accordance with approved structural engineering plans and local building code requirements. They were also asking about what will happen to the existing foundation. Could you send me a short construction protocol on the sequence and process of construction for this job? Thanks, Danny E.
