Dear Cape Cod Farms:
The Town of Yarmouth Board of Health has reviewed and voted on your request for variances
from the Town of Yarmouth Plastic Regulation.
The Board voted at its duly posted meeting on March 16, 2026, to grant your establishments
variances from the applicable regulations, allowing the continued use ofplastic cups and plastic
lids through October 12,2026.
As discussed during the meeting, Cape Cod Farms is scheduled to appear before the Board on
October 5, 2026, to provide an update on efforts to identily and implement altematives to plastic
cups and lids.
This variance is being granted to allow your business additional time to transition to products
that comply with the Town of Yarmouth Plastic Regulation. Please be advised that this variance
is temporary and will expire on the date listed above. After that time, your establishment will be
expected to be in full compliance with the regulation unless further reliefis granted.
If you have any questions regarding this variance or the requirements ofthe Plastic Regulation,
please contact the Yarmouth Health Department.
