Dear Brittanie and Members of the Commission:
As Trustee of the Rose M. Marasco Living Trust, and as the majority owner of 94 and 94A Pleasant Street,
South Yarmouth, I write in support of the proposed replacement of an existing, permitted bulkhead with
associated grading at 10 Surfside Terrace.
The proposed work represents a reasonable and appropriate improvement to an existing structure.
Based on my 60-year familiarity with the area and the property, I believe the project is consistent with the
protection of the environmental and historic character of the Bass River, unlike other structures.
The Grimes family is highly respected in the community and has demonstrated a consistent commitment
to stewardship of the riverfront and surrounding environment. Their approach to this project reflects
care, responsibility, and sensitivity to the unique coastal conditions of the site.
For these reasons, I respectfully support the Commission's approval of this application.
