Hi! Pipe removal and drain installation were completed yesterday.
Pictures attached, starting with proof that the pipes and milk crates were removed. Fozzie the
Camp Dog supervised the photo shoot. :)

Let me recap briefly. The Conservation Division was flagged to approve work on a deck
at the “redwood” building at Camp Wingate Kirkland. The work described was different
from what had been approved under the order of conditions SE83-2434, so I arranged a
site visit with Cody Mercurio to document before approval. While there, I took some
photos of the art barn which was also part of that OOC. I noticed two black pipes with
milk crates at the ends that appeared to be draining into the wetland behind the craft sheds,
and asked if they were connected to the drains for the art barn roof. Cody didn’t know
anything about them, so I checked our files to see if they show up in any previous photos.
Please see the attached photos. The first page was taken from the NOI from April 2024.
The photo on the left shows the backs of the art sheds and the photo on the right was taken
from almost the same location as my first photo, but I don’t see the crates or pipes.
When I spoke to Cody earlier on the phone I told him we would need those pipes removed
before we approve any other work on the campground. Please let us know if you have any
additional information about what they are connected to or if they can be removed.
