Yes, I saw that. This includes England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern lreland. I think it's important to
note the NFG begins with those born after 2009.

On Wednesday, parliament passed a ban on teenage smoking and use of nicotine products. Once
this law receives royal assent, expected next week, anyone born afterjanuary 1, 2009 is banned from
buying cigars, cigarettes, vapes or other nicotine products.
The law accomplishes this feat by annually raising the age limit on tobacco purchases. So, this year,
the age to purchase is 1 8, next year one will need to 19 to purchase, 20 the year after that, and so
on and on. lf all goes well over the next 50-60 years, the country will be entirely smoke-free.
